Long ago there was a boy named Kip. He found a dog. The dog was very hungry. The dog saved the cave boy Kip three times from a mammoth, a bear and a saber-toothed tiger. The cave boy Kip gave the dog a collar after the dog saved him. After the saber-toothed tiger almost attacked the boy, the dog and the boy were friends.
This book reminds me (Niko) of my dog Rock-o. This book reminds me (Jake ) of a dog named Mookey. We recommend this book to people who like animals. We also recommend this book to anyone that enjoys other Jan Brett books.
The illustrations are good because Jan Brett puts borders all around the pictures. The pictures are nicely drawn and the borders shows what will come next.
