Have you ever wondered if draculas, witches, ghosts, and werewolves were real? Well, if you have, then you should read Great Uncle Dracula. It's a great book about a girl who moves to Pennsylvania and finds out that life is a lot different there. When she gets to school, she finds out that all the kids are draculas, witches, ghosts, and werewolves. Lots of people tell her she's a weirdo because she is "normal," especially when she's waiting in line to go to school. After she wins a school contest, she isn't called a weirdo anymore. If you like fictional books that are a little serious, then you should read this book.
I thought it was wonderful. I liked it because it was kind of funny and also serious at the same time. My favorite part of this story was when the girl slid on a banana peel and hit a cake. The illustrations are really good, too. They were my second favorite part of the book. I liked that the girl's character changed from being called a weirdo to being accepted as a classmate. Just remember to read Great Uncle Dracula.
