The animals in the abbey are planning a surprise feast for their abbot but the abbot gives a surprise of his own. While the redwallers are cooking, the abbot is going on a "bobbaton quest for a weary nod." Do you know what that is? It is the abbot's secret code. At the end of the book you find out what it is. Not all of the book is about the feast...there is a mole child that tries to eat the cake before it is even done. To find out everything else, read The Great Redwall Feast. It's great!
We found the mole Bungo interesting because he's a hungry child that tries to steal a cake and he doesn't even scream "HELP" when he falls into a plum pie. Bungo the mole reminds me of me because I steal cookies. This book is part of a series and it is different from the other books because: this one has pictures and the others don't, this one has 60 pages and the others have 200 pages.
We recommend this book to people who like animals and who love the Redwall series by Brian Jacques.
