The book I read is a Magic Treehouse book called Mummies in the Morning by Mary Pope Osborne. This story is about 8 year Jack and 7 year old Annie. They are brother and sister. They go back in time to ancient Egypt and follow a black cat inside a pyramid. There they find a tomb robber who drops a scepter and finds a ghost. The ghost shows them four pictures of hieroglyphics. If you want to find out what happens you?ll have to read the book.
I think people who want to know more about Egypt would like to read this book because it gives facts about Egypt and the pyramids. I liked it because it has a lot of adventures. I would recommend anyone interested in ancient Egypt to read this book. It will help you learn what it was like back them.
