Have you ever known a girl who cut her own hair or her dog’s hair? Junie B. cut her hair herself! She had to wear a hat because she cut her hair! She is so funny, silly, and crazy. Sometimes Junie B. is a bully and she gets mixed-up. She shouts crazy words like bestest, worstest, and itchy fuzzies. Will she fix her hair, or will she wait until it grows back? Well, you have to read the book to find out more.
My favorite part is when Junie B.’s friend Lucille said, “Look at me everyone. I look so beautiful!” I like that part because it’s funny. Junie B. is jealous and she hollered… “Well, I can be a shampoo girl!” Junie B. is so crazy. Well, do you know what Junie B. did? She cut her fur slippers! She went snip! Snip! And snip! Until it’s all gone! That’s how crazy she is! Junie B. reminds me of me because she changed her name just like me! She changed her name to Pinky Gladys Gutzman! I think I changed my name to butterfly, but my mom didn’t let me keep it. I was little, so I didn’t know better.
I recommend this book to people that like funny, silly and crazy books like Little Miss/Mr. books. You should read lots of Barbara Park books because they’re so funny!
