The duck did not have any friends. One of the ducks bit the ugly duckling. The mom saved the ugly duckling, but the duckling ran away.
I liked the dog in the story, because dogs are cute. I felt sad when a duck bit the ugly duckling. I liked the ugly duckling, because it's feathers made it look cute.
I recommend this book to you, because it is about a little cute duck. If you like ducks you should read it.
