In this story an old lady starts by swallowing a shell. Next thing you know she swallowed a crab, a fish, a full, a pail, some sand and a wave! If you want to see what else she swallows and what happens to the old lady, read the book.
I think this book is silly. The pictures are silly. I like that it takes place on the beach. I like to eat fish just like the old lady. That was my favorite part too when she swallowed the fish because people really eat fish but they don't eat some of those other things.
I think that my friends, family, and teachers would like this book. This book is silly. This book is also like a poem and that's good for kids.
