The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane is about a china rabbit that goes on a journey with a lot of people. All of the people love him very much. He kept on moving and moving until… well you are just going to have to read the book to find out what happens next! The book is a real page turner so be ready to be up all night reading! I hope you like the book because I loved it!
I thought that the story was great and the characters showed passion because they loved Edward. I also liked the book because it had lots of adventure throughout the whole book. My favorite part of the book was when Edward was finally listening to people. This is an important part of the story because in the beginning of the book Edward never listened and when he lost Abilene he finally realized he should care about and listen to people. I found a character in the story named Bryce interesting because he worked on a farm and I always wondered what it would be like to be a farm worker. I can connect to Bryce because I too have a sibling that I love and care about. I felt passionate when I read the book because everyone in the story either took interest in Edward or loved him. The book taught me more about love because you have to learn to love and appreciate your family.
I think other kids should read this book because it’s all about adventure and love. I recommend this book to readers who love adventurous books and grades one through five because for younger students you would not know most of these words and its meanings and grades older it won’t be an interesting book. I think that the characters might interest the reader because all of those characters are talented in different ways.
