This book is about a little girl who is named D.W. Arthur?s little sister, D.W., is a very picky eater. She is a small girl who does not like spinach and other foods too. I think D.W. likes peanut butter and jelly sandwiches because she does not like things looking at her. D.W. goes to a restaurant and she says, "What are these things?" She thought it was spinach and it was. She doesn?t go to the restaurant for a week and then her mom tells her if she eats everything they give her, she can to the restaurant for her grandmother?s birthday.
When I was little I remember that I used to throw my food to the ground and my mom had to clean it up. The illustrator used rainbow colors and my favorite color was blue. I think there was nothing special about this book. This book is different from other books I read because it was easier. This book reminded me about my cousin Sarah because when Sarah tries to eat her food, she makes a mess on the table.
I know this book is a good book for third graders. I think you should read this book because the ending is a surprise.
