This book is about a fox who tried to save animals lives. So he went to Boggis's chicken house number one. Then, they got the plumpest chickens. Mr. Fox gave the plumpest hens to the oldest of the small foxes. The oldest of the small foxes ran down the tunnel to show his mom the plumpest hens. They went to the other farmers' places too.
I liked this book because it was pretty easy to read. I wanted to keep reading it because I wanted to find out what happened to Mr. Fox. My favorite part of this book was when Mr. Fox said "Don't lose your heads." My other favorite part is when Mr. Fox said "Shut up!" to rat. I like these parts because they are funny.
I recommend this book because it's the funniest book I have ever read. I think second graders and up should read it.
