Do you like to laugh? Then here is a book written by Ann Cameron that you should read. It's about a boy named Julian who tells good stories. He can make people, especially his brother Huey, believe just about everything. Like the one about the catalog cats that come in the mail or the fig leaves that make you grow tall if you eat them off the tree.
I liked this book because Julian tells a lot stories that I wish would happen to me. My favorite part is the first story Julian told. It was about when his Dad made mashed potatoes that tasted like lemon.
In this story Julian changed from the beginning to the end because he got a new friend. By getting a new friend Julian became a nicer person.
I recommend this book to anyone who likes to laugh because it's funny and it gets your attention. This book is fun so you should read this book.
