This story is about a girl named Junie (Junie B. Jones in your case - because she doesn't like to be called Junie or Junie Jones). One day, Junie B. went to the nurse. The nurse gave Junie B. an eye chart test. She saw it blurry. After the eye chart test the nurse told Junie B. she needed glasses. So after school Junie B. got purple glasses. The next day was show and tell. Junie B. brought her glasses for show and tell. She was scared to show her glasses but she showed her glasses. She expected the class to laugh but instead the most unexpected thing happened. Read the book to find out what happens to Junie B. Jones.
I (Gabrielle) like the part when Junie B. went to the nurse to get glasses because I thought she wouldn't like going to the nurse. I (Amanda) liked the part when Junie B. went to the nurse and got glasses because I just thought she couldn't read. It reminds us of when we first saw our teacher because on the last day of first grade she didn't wear glasses but on the first day of second grade she wore glasses. Our favorite character was Junie B. because she's literal which means she does not know that there are two meanings of a word not one.
We recommend this book to people who like literal characters in books. We also recommend this book to people all around the world with glasses. People who are Junie B. Jones book lovers will love this book.
