Review: There was a family called the Monroes. They went to the movies and left the cat and the dog to watch the house. In the movies, Toby Monroe sat in an empty seat, and suddenly a box with a rabbit in it appeared in his lap. Toby and his brother Pete named the bunny Bunnicula, because they found it during a Dracula movie.
At night Chester the cat and Harold the dog saw someone go into the kitchen. Each morning the Monroe family find out all the vegetables in the kitchen are white. Now, that?s a mystery. Could it have anything to do with Bunnicula?
My opinion of this book is that I really liked it because it?s mysterious. The most interesting characters were Chester the cat, because he is clever, and Howard the dog because he is lazy and clumsy. Sometimes I take my brother?s stuff, and leave him a mystery, just as Bunnicula left his family a mystery.
I?d like to recommend this book because its funny, and a mystery, and I?d like other kids to find out who made the mystery. I think kids will like how funny and clumsy the dog is.
