The Return of the King tells how the one ring of power gets destroyed in Mordor. It starts as Gandalf, The White, rushes with Pippin to the land of Gondor. The Rohan king is accompanied by Aragorn the heir of Gondor, Legolas the elf, Gimli the dwarf, and Merry the hobbit. Pippin is going to tell Boromir's father about his death. Gondor is at the border of Mordor, so the steward of Gondor, Boromir's father, decides to go into full war with Mordor. Faramir, Boromir's brother, is coming to give his report to his father. The characters are Frodo, Sam, Merry, Pippin, Gandalf, Aragorn, Gimli, Legolas. This is the third book of the series.
Try reading The Return of the King, the enchanting climax to the Two Towers and the Fellowship of the Ring. I like this series because of the adventure, the role playing and the story. This book is one of the best books I have ever read. My favorite part is when Aragorn goes to the paths of the dead. My favorite character is Frodo. In the story Frodo is getting mentally discouraged and is falling to the power of the ring, but he has a strong mental mind. He also has a strong and stout heart and comes from a line of unusual Hobbits.
I really recommend this book. This is the best book of the series. This is a good book for just about anyone who wants a good story. The book is a little difficult to read so I would recommend this to levels nine and up. I hope you enjoy reading this as much as I did.
