This book is about Fluffy the orange and white guinea pig who is the class pet of Ms. Day's class. The class decided to have a 100th day party. Fluffy and all the other guinea pigs from school were invited and decided to have several contests. The first was to see how many sunflower seeds they could eat and Fluffy won because he ate the most. Then there was the 100 inch race and Fluffy won again. The last chapter tells of a mystery. The class starts counting the cherries and there were supposed to be 100, but one is missing. They find something on top of Fluffy's bowl, it's a cherry pit.
I like this story because Fluffy won the 100 inch race. I also like the seed eating contest because Fluffy didn't even know he won or that it is was even a race to see who could eat the most. The end was funny when Fluffy said, "they don't call me clever for nothing".
I do recommend this story especially if you like guinea pigs. I think it is neat becasue they had a 100th day party just like we did at our school. I think this story would be good for anyone my age and older because it would be a little hard to read by someone younger.
