This story is about a Gingerbread Man. One day an old lady was cooking a gingerbread man. The Gingerbread Man ran out of the door. The lady, duck, a cow, and a horse ran after him. The fox at the lake is helping him to cross the lake. But, the fox is really tricking him because he eats the Gingerbread Man.
My favorite character is the fox because he tricked the Gingerbread man; he is so sneaky! My favorite part is when the Gingerbread Man gets eaten because the Gingerbread Man did not know he was going to get eaten.
The story was exciting because the Gingerbread Man ran out of the house. I have never heard of a Gingerbread Man running or talking. He kept saying, "Run, run as fast as you can. You can't catch me, I'm the Gingerbread Man!"
I would recommend this book because it is an adventure. I think my friend Marvin would like this book. I also think the pictures are interesting in this story because they are colorful.
