Stanley was on his bed and a bulletin board fell on him. Then he became flat. Stanley could slip under doors and his brother was jealous because Stanley was flat. When Stanley?s mother lost her ring in a storm drain, Stanley got it with a shoelace. Stanley helped Arthur by making himself into a kite. Arthur got Stanley stuck in the tree and he left him in there. Stanley got real mad about that. Stanley helped to catch the thieves at the museum. The sneak thieves knew there was a door in the floor. Arthur pumped Stanley up with a bike pump. Then Stanley was round like his brother Arthur.
I liked the book when Stanley had to dress up like a girl. I liked it because it made me laugh and I thought it was funny. My favorite part was when Stanley was a shepherdess. He didn't want to do it, but he did. My favorite characters were Stanley and Arthur because they are brothers. They sometimes didn?t get along, the same way that real brothers sometimes don?t get along. But at the end they worked together to get Stanley back to normal. I liked the illustrations because they helped me see what Stanley and his family looked like.
I think everybody who likes to read funny stories would like this book. There were a lot of funny parts to this story.
