When Stanly was in his bed, a bulletin board fell on him and flattened him. But he was O.K. Arthur was jealous of Stanley because he could slide under doors. Arthur tried to flatten himself with books so he could be like Stanley. Arthur flew Stanley as a kite. Stanley got stuck in a tree. Arthur left Stanley in the tree. Stanley was really mad at Arthur for leaving him in a tree. Arthur blew Stanley up with a bike pump then Stanley was normal again.
My favorite part is when Arthur tried to flatten himself with books. I like this because it sounds like something I would do. I think this book is good because it was funny and it made me laugh. Stanley could also slide under doors. Sometimes I wish I could slide under doors like Stanley.
I recommend Flat Stanley to everyone because it was funny and made me laugh. I think seven to ten year olds would like this book.
