This story is about a girl named Polly and a boy named Digory who are best friends and discover something magical. Digory's Uncle Andrew was doing an evil experiment and tricked Polly to touch it. The experiment causes her to go to the another world. In the other world, they meet an evil witch named Jadis, who says she is a queen. Digory tries to take her back to her own world, but she just won't go. Digory and Polly are always trying to run away from the evil witch Jadis, and she keeps coming in and out of worlds. Will Jadis go back to her own world? Read the book and find out!
The character I found interesting is Digory, because Digory is very loving. He just wants his mom to get healthy, but will he ever get home in time to save her? Read the book and you will know!
Digory reminds me of my cousin. My cousin acts like Digory, because Digory is very outgoing and my cousin is outgoing too. I act sort of like Uncle Andrew, because he is selfish, and I think I'm selfish.
In this book the character who changes the most is the evil witch, Jadis. When we first meet her she acts really nice, then she starts to be really mean. Digory also changes, because he at the start he believes everything he hears, like that Jadis is a queen. But as the book goes on he starts to not believe everything he hears.
This book is part of a series. My opinion is that you should read this book before reading The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, because in this book Digory is a boy. Read the second book to see what he is next!
I recommend this book to people who like mysteries. If you like mysteries, you would love this book, because it's so full of mysteries. Read this book, you'll love it!
