The Three Investigators: The Mystery of the Silver Spider

The mystery of the silver spider is about three boys, Jupiter, Bob, and, Pete, who try to find a spider made of silver. The spider is important because the Prince of Varania has to know where it is so he can be crowned. The Prince also has to find a royal badge or he cannot be crowned, so the three investigators help him find that, too. The boys have lots of adventures as they try to find the treasures and save the prince so he won't meet his deadly enemies! I sort of like this book, and I sort of don't like it. I don't like it because a lot of parts in the book were very boring. The parts I didn't like were in chapter seven. It was sort of violent because they were fighting! I don't like hitting and fighting. Also, sometimes it took the author a long time to tell you what was going on. I did like it because I like investigator books. I like it when there's a mystery to solve. I recommend that 8-year-olds and up to read this book. I think they would like this book because a lot of 8-year-olds like investigators and mysteries just like I do. I think second graders and third graders would enjoy this book, but grown-ups may or may not like it. Some adults do like mysteries, but some may just like sports or other kinds of books.
