The story is about a turtle named Franklin. He is going to school. Franklin the turtle could do lots of things but he could not read or write his letters. Franklin went to school and he did not know what to do. It made him scared, so he started to draw. The teacher came over and said he was a good artist. Then Franklin the turtle said I know all the colors too. Then he wanted to learn lots of things so he did. Then he went home and he told his mother what he did today. He was excited about school.
I liked Franklin because he was so excited about school that he did not eat. I like Mr. Owl because he taught Franklin how to read. Mr. Owl also taught him how to build.
My favorite part was when Franklin learns how to write, how to read and when he learned to build.
I think that you should read this book because it helps you learn. It also helps you remember to eat before school.
I recommend this book for kindergarten through second grade because it was fun to read.
