Sophie lived in an orphanage. One night the Big Friendly Giant or BFG snatched Sophie from her room at the orphanage .The BFG took her to a cave. After that they met the Blood bottler, who was one of the giants. The BFG would not eat human beings because he is a friendly giant. Instead, he ate nasty Snozzcumbers. Sophie and the BFG had some Frobscottle, and the BFG made a Whizzpopper!
They went to catch some dreams but the BFG had a little trouble. The BFG caught the dreams and then he took them out of the glass and started to mix the dream. The BFG was going to do his job and his job was blowing dreams through a trumpet into children's bedrooms.
There were many evil giants. Some were, the Bonecruncher, the Fleshlumpeater, the Meatdripper and the bloodbottler. Sophie and the BFG went to London with a plan to tell the queen about the giants eating the children. The BFG blew a dream into the queen's bedroom. If you want to know if the plan worked then read the book!
I enjoyed reading this book. My favorite part of the book was when the BFG made a Whizzpopper. This book was really exciting because the language the author used was funny. I felt good when I read this book. I liked reading this book and I hope you do to!
I recommend this book to people who like adventure. The BFG and Sophie went on many journeys in the book and had a lot of fun. The book made me laugh and I couldn't wait to see what was going to happen at the end!
