Who Was Martin Luther King Jr.

Have you ever thought about giving up? Martin Luther King Jr never gave up, even though he lost his freedom several times. Martin Luther King Jr, tried to make black people accepted by white people. Some of them didn't agree, so he fought for equal rights and went to jail several times. His whole life, he never stopped fighting for black people's rights. Read this book, Who Was Martin Luther King Jr by Bonnie Bader to learn more about him.

I loved how the author wrote the book with so many specific words and examples. My favorite was when Martin Luther King Jr. gave his speech "I have a dream today". It was an awesome speech because it was very inspiring for white people to accept black people. I loved the pictures. They were illustrated well because it made me think of racism.

I would recommend this book to kids who are seven years old and older because it has a little violence in it. This is one of my favorite books because it is a story about an important event in world history.
